Naveen Venkat is a final year undergraduate student at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka with a passion for data science and software development. He has a good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms and enjoys testing his understanding by participating in CP contests. Naveen is quick to assimilate new concepts and learns new things by building and working on actual projects that might help society. Currently, Naveen is working as a Data Scientist Intern at ABInBev, where he provides assortment recommendations for retailers based on sales, demographic, and seasonal factors. He has also developed a pricing and promotion model to predict the price and revenue change during promotional sales using genetic algorithms considering own price and cross-price elasticity. In the past, Naveen has worked as the Head of Media and Publicity at ACM Association for Computing Machinery, where he led a 15-member team accountable for media, publicity, and outreach of the club. He was also an active participant of 'Vidyut,' a special interest group whose members are passionate about Electronics, Signal and Image Processing and engage in projects in the aforementioned domains. Naveen has conducted Summer Mentorship Programs for juniors on "Internet of Things" and "Photoshop." Naveen's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Surathkal, which he is expected to complete in April 2023. He has also completed his High School from Sri Chaitanya College of Education and Middle School from Kendriya Vidyalaya. Naveen's tech stack includes Data Scientist, Research Scientist, Test, and Software Engineer. He has relevant experience of 0.77 years. Naveen is always looking to connect with like-minded individuals and expand his knowledge and experience.
